From our family to yours, we’d like to extend an invitation to welcome you to one of our services.
As you explore our site, you’ll find that North Walhalla Church of God has something for everyone in your family, from our Children’s Ministry to our Student Ministries to our Men’s Bible Fellowships and Women’s Ministries. Wherever you are in life, we have a place for you to connect with God and other people just like you.
You are a vital part of God's plan, and we would be blessed to have you join North Walhalla in our vision of building a house of hope!
There is no dress code at North Walhalla. We invite you to dress casually and comfortably. You’ll fit right in. After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look (see 1 Samuel 16:7).
You’ll experience friendly people, cutting-edge worship music blended with the traditional hymns of the church, and Pastor Scottie’s relevant messages that will help you apply biblical principles to your everyday life. You can even talk with or pray with one of our pastors or elders after each of our services.
We are a Pentecostal church, which means that we allow the Holy Spirit to move as He sees fit in our services. We will not allow our schedules and formats to stand in the way of the Holy Spirit. You may hear someone speak in an unknown tongue as the Spirit gives the utterance, you may see people jump or dance under the power of the Holy Spirit. All of this is acceptable! Worship as you feel led to worship by God.
Absolutely not! In addition to our two Sunday services, we also have a Wednesday night service—Family Training Hour. During FTH, the children and youth have classes to help them grow in and learn from God’s Word. The adults meet in the main sanctuary and topical studies are presented by Pastor Scottie. There is also a Monday evening prayer meeting, and there are plenty of monthly meetings for various ministries of the church (ladies, men, seniors, etc.). See the Contact Us page for a complete list of service times and also see the current bulletin for a list of upcoming events.
We aim to be an all-inclusive church. However, our resources are limited, so we try to provide for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific needs please contact pastor Scottie or any of the greeters. Our premises are accessible for those with disabilities. We have reserved parking spaces near the entrance. The main sanctuary, fellowship hall, and children’s education departments are all accessible. We do not currently have a loop for the hearing impaired (please tell us if this would be helpful).
